- Developed a comprehensive Air-Ground Risk Assessment that lowered the number of insurgent attacks against U.S. Aircraft by 20% and mitigated risk throughout Northern Iraq - a land mass the size of Pennsylvania.
- Identified over 500 areas in Northern Iraq, along with time patterns of terrorist activity that placed attack aircraft in position on a daily basis to assist Iraqi Security Forces and U.S. Forces in thwarting terrorist/insurgent operations.
- Developed daily targeting plans and coordinated collection operations with other Army organizations and the U.S. Air Force, synchronizing multi-organizational assets to find and neutralize terrorist/insurgent operatives throughout Northern Iraq. These planning tools were later adopted by the U.S. Air Force to assist in the current training of the emerging Iraqi Air Force.
05/03 - 07/06 Joint Multi-National Training Center Exercise Designer and Controller: Designed and created the operational setting, scenario, and metrics for training outside Army organizations comprised of up to 4,000 personnel with varying air and ground equipment, in their combat preparation for improved performance and results in: Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kosovo. Observed outside Army units‚ processes and procedures, then provided in-depth analysis and suggestions for improving systems and creating new approaches to mission execution. Supervised a staff of 2 Intelligence Analysts.
- Developed an entirely new two-tier system that self-energized unit training and was recognized by 3 senior commanders, while serving in combat, to be the most relevant training preparing them and their soldiers for success in war.
- Completely redesigned the Kosovo Training Environment enhancing the NATO Commander‚s theatre-wide operations in the Balkans Region of Europe.
- Developed a Post-Global War on Terrorism training outline and scenario that now serves as the basis of the Army Training Centers‚ model for futuristic full-spectrum operations preparing U.S. Forces for potential conflicts world-wide.
05/02 - 05/03 Company Commander: Led and trained a 30 person, later expanded to 87 personnel, intelligence company preparing to deploy to Iraq in support of the Global War on Terrorism. Responsible for over $3.7 million worth of weapons, communications, night vision, and computer equipment. Managed the maintenance, logistics, and employment of 7 electronic warfare systems, 11 vehicles, and 3 generators.
- Created a progressive training program that prepared the company for combat and was validated at the Army's National Training Center, recognized by Brigadier General Robert Durbin as "setting the standard for every Military Intelligence Company to follow."
- Personnel of the company were recognized and "lauded" by outside leaders and observers as "some of the best in the National Training Center's history."
- Successfully met all deployment criteria and milestones to deploy the company in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
