EDAK Announces Expansion in Minnesota

Melbourne, FL 01.30.06 - EDAK, a globally active company offering engineered aluminum solutions recently reached an agreement with Minnesota Manufacturers Representatives (MMR) to represent the company in Minnesota. With key defense contractors located in and around the state, plus the growing biomedical industry, this is viewed as an important territory.

In the past, EDAK had supported customers from its Melbourne, Florida, North American Headquarters. “There is a critical synergy between MMR and EDAK, and this will be a key factor to the success of the relationship”, said Kevin Gholston, EDAK, Inc.’s General Manager. “People do business with people they like. Recently EDAK was selected to supply its aluminum MILEX 19” Shock Mounted Rack Case for an undisclosed and confidential DOD project supporting our fighting men and women in Iraq and in Afghanistan. This project is just the start of a very large ongoing deployment of EDAK MILEX cases and has prompted the company to expand dramatically in the past year.
