State Releases S&T Report

The new Science & Technology (S&T) Policy Committee was charged by the state legislature late last year to submit policy recommendations to help regain Minnesota's once-heralded lead in science, technology and innovation. The Committee's initial report was completed this week for review prior to the 2010 legislative session. Your Defense Alliance leadership is represented on the S&T Policy Committee, and the membership is urged to read this report and contribute to the discussion. The Committee Report's Conclusion states: |
"It is important that Minnesotans, legislators paramount among them, recognize the crisis confronting Minnesota's economic future and commit to implementation of a systematic, coordinated S&T strategy of investment, supportive public policy and effective public-private partnerships in order to avoid losing further ground in key measures of economic success."
